Walking Cold / Freezer Rooms

Walking Cold Rooms (Refrigerated Rooms) and Freezer Rooms are enclosed insulated spaces used for storing perishable foods, dairy products, meat, seafood, and other temperature-sensitive items.

Cold Rooms operate typically between +2°C to +8°C for fresh food storage. Freezer Rooms maintain temperatures between -18°C to -25°C for frozen food preservation.

Key Features:

Insulated Panels
  • Polyurethane (PU) or PIR core with steel/aluminium sheet. Cold Rooms: 80–100mm thick. Freezer Rooms: 100–150mm thick. Airtight cam-lock tongue & groove joints.

Doors
  • Swing or sliding type with magnetic gaskets for airtight sealing. Safety release mechanism inside freezer rooms + optional strip curtains.

Refrigeration System
  • Semi-hermetic or scroll compressors, air/water-cooled condensers, ceiling/wall mounted evaporator coils with forced air circulation. Refrigerants: R404A, R507, or eco-friendly R448A, R449A.

Flooring
  • Anti-slip corrosion-resistant floor panels or epoxy coated surface. Drain channels for hygiene & cleaning.

Lighting
  • LED / Vapor-proof lights with low heat output.
  • Emergency lighting system for power failures.
